Manning Lab

The Manning Lab studies the molecular epidemiology, evolution and pathogenesis of bacterial pathogens linked to human infections with a focus on diarrheagenic Escherichia coli and Group B Streptococcus. We also have been studying how diarrheal disease and antibiotic use impacts the gut microbiome and emergence of antibiotic resistance.
