2022 Pictures

In March, some of the lab traveled to Western Michigan University to attend the MI-ASM branch meeting, which was co-organized by lab alumnus Ben Koestler who is now an Assistant Professor at Western. Brian gave a talk and Jasper presented a poster. It was a fun day meeting and interacting with our fellow MI microbiologists!

In April, Brian Hsueh successfully defended his PhD! We are proud of you Dr. Hsueh!

A few short week later, Soo Yoon also successfully defended his PhD, which will go along with his DO and MPH degrees. Congratulations Dr. Yoon!

The lab had fun attending the high school graduation party for Chris' daughter Bella, and we learned Amber and Jasper are ringers at Kan-Jam. An added bonus was a visit from the Severin family!
